Inside the old prison!

Inside the castle was a prison that literally closed down a few years back and was still pretty much intact!

My little brother and I inside the dungeons where the 'Pendle Witches' were held during their trail for their 'allegedly' criminal offence of Witchcraft.

This was one of my trips to Lancaster Castle and I was fascinated about the witch trails that happened in the 1600's and this was where the Pendle Witches were held while waiting for their sentence.
I have presented a few of these images in my sketchbook and annotated about the architecture, texture and form etc...
