Annika Wester

Here is one of my final illustration boards for a college brief. I based this on Annika Wester's style and technique. The simplistic lines, cartoon-like features, unrealistic proportions (body/face) influenced my board. Wester uses minimal colour, however I chose not to add colour because I prefer the image without. Also, my target customer (From Somewhere brand) is characterised as 'visionary' and I understand that more importance is given to the design (cut, manufacture) than the colours used.
