I have been searching every rummage of every charity shop corner trying to find the perfect crochet dress with large sleeves and this cheeky bugger magically appeared...

It was given to me by my boyfriend's mum who has had it for over 10 years! I love it when I am given or find clothing that has a story behind it and is it mass produced these day e.g Primark....

Although, I do adore some items in Primark it will never replace my true love for vintage. It also has a bohemian element to it, I sooo wish I had one in white! This is the perfect dress to take travelling and just simply makes me want to frolic naked in the sand and sea under the moonlight with only this beautiful crochet dress covering my nipples and peachy ass! Well, I do dream of having a peachy arse. Not only does it make me feel like a mystical mermaid swanning the shore at night with starfishes covering my naughty parts and my siren voice luring sailors (I wish!) It also reminds me of the 70's sex pistols grunge jumpers that were shredded and torn.

I luuurvvvvee this top so much!!! It was given to me and I cannot stop wearing it! Its perfect with leather look leggings and fringing for a bit of texture. The colours are so wonderful especially this time of year with the oxblood trend that occurs in A/W. I love how it is velvet with a tie dye effect and looks lovely with a gothic choker.

It has been a looong time!
I have missed blogging so much but I tell you it has been a long, windy chaotic road!
I do need to find a better location for my pictures...
I was beyond chuffed when I snagged this cheeky bomber jacket off eBay! It reminded me a lot of the fresh prince of bel air days and many people have told me that too! It is THE most perfect thing I have in my clothing collection and I shall start experimenting and clashing it with different patterns now!

Hello!

Just a quick post before I pop off to the charity shops!
This was a throw on outfit (as you can tell) I don't really wear maxi dresses, the reason is because I haven't shaved my legs. Awks.
Anyway this crystal necklace is another beautiful gem gifted to me by Bellast.com and it is perfect for my boho/grunge style. It has an adjustable cord so you can wear it to any size you want. I prefer having it as a choker style so you can see the crystal around my neck but it is up to you!

Hello!
I was kindly gifted some jewellery from the lovely people at Bellast.com! I am currently wearing the fox cartier which I seriously cannot take off my neck! I am obsessed with foxes and thought this was just simply beautiful especially with the rose golden touch. Here are a few more fox jewellery options on bellast...I find most necklaces I purchase break straight away as I always go cheap but this is not only a delicate piece of jewellery but is so durable I was amazed! CAD: Pentagram Dress

This is another one of my final designs for my collection in college. 

CAD: fashion figure on a background

Here is my final image that I created with Photoshop  based on cropping a fashion figure and placing it on a background. I used the lasso tool to crop around the fashion figure and had to merge both layers together to make the figure look like it was meant to be on this background. 

This image is an example of how brands promote their image with merging different images together to make it look professional and commercialised.

All I have to say is that I want this jersey SOO bad! I have wanted one for years and was surprisingly shocked when my boy said I could borrow it! YAYAYAYY

Toile Diary: Kimono

Kimono:

• I started off with a basic dress block.
• I then traced around a sleeve block too.
• I then adapted my pattern by slashing and spreading both the dress block and sleeve block. 
• I then traced around these new patterns and added 1.5cm Seam Allowance. 
• I placed my pattern pieces on fabric (back piece was cut on fold) and cut out.
• I then machine stitched the shoulder seams together first and pinned in the sleeve.
• I machine stitched the sleeve in the armhole. I then turned the garment inside out and sewed the sleeve and side seam. I then repeated this on the other side.

Design detail on kimono:

• Firstly, I sampled my design with rope to create solid lines as I want the design to stand out on the catwalk. 
• Secondly, I hand painted the design I wanted on the back of the kimono with fabric paint but due to the nap of the velvet the paint didn't settle or sit comfortably on the garment. 
• I then created a stencil on which I still need to sample spray painting on the velvet.
• If this doesn't work I will appliqué my design on the kimono.
